Quote from the article.
Quote:
A LACK of discipline is an all-too-common criticism of football teams but is one unlikely to be levelled at Craigroyston Boys' Club's under-17 outfit as they kick off the 2010/11 season under the tutelage of a former British Army soldier and professional boxer. Gareth Stemp, holder of those two titles, will lead his charges into a battle for promotion from the Lothian Buses plc South East Region Youth FA under-17 Division 2, but the challenge for the 25-year-old ex-soldier extends to far outwith the roughand tumble of the football pitch.
Having grown up in the Edinburgh district of Wester Hailes before entering the regimented environs of a successful boxing career and life in the Army, Stemp is only too aware of the perils that can face idle young people today

Emm ... how could I put it? I think you'll be kept busy.

All the best.

i dont think thier will be any problems the problems we had are now gone.their has only been one match ihave been diaspionted with behaviour and to be honest the other team were involved in few incidents.being aphysically strong side does not make team ill discplined.im very happy with how the lads are coming on.we are busy but not with dicpline issues.

**Gaffa**

We played Stemps team, and to be fair to him, there was 1 or 2 incedents, and both Stemp and I pulled the lads off right away.
As soon as the final whistle went, Stemp shouted "Everyone shake hands"

I spoke to Stemp and I believe (Sorry if im wrong Stemp) But I believe he released a player or 2 (Think he hinted above he did)
I worked with Stemp and he works lads hard on discapline

As a manager you can only work with what comes along, and its fair to say Stemp will keep his lads in check.

;) Keep up the good work Stemp

Good to hear it Stemp
and cheers for the updates at your game the other night :loel:
text after text, then nothing.... :goal:

The more good sides in the league the better I say
we played Lochend and won 6-2, but we are about a month ahead of them in fitness
Once the league games start and they get thier players back from holiday and I get my 2/3 best players back and a few other fitter the games will be a bit closer.

Looking forward to it.
All I can say is, 18 players, not 1 has missed any sessions other than holidays
got lads coming injured and helping coaches etc

Really got ma "zing" back for the old Soccerball, when you lose the hunger for it, its hard to get back
but the club I have joined has REALLY gotten my head back up, and made me feel very welcome

Win, lose or draw, we will all enjoy it
