From another forum for Pro Youth:

Killie 1965 posted

"Under 14 QUARTER FINALS.

Cup QF Inishowen YL 1-0 Edina Hibs Ardmore

Cup QF Gairdoch Utd 0-4 Hearts FC Showgrounds

Cup QF Shankill Youth 0-6 Linfield Newbuildings

Cup QF Celtic 1-0 Donegal Schools Oakland"

"Very well organised tournament and the 2 teams who reached the 14's final were there deservedly. After watching celtic win their semi i expected a lot from them in the final but they abandoned their passing game for long balls the whole game. But for some very dubious referreing Hearts would have won with some comfort.
Could not believe my eyes watching the lineswoman celebrating with the celtic officials Rolling Eyes

Caught Edina Hibs on a couple of occasions and they battled well without having the quality to progress further. let themselves down with their discipline which came to a head in their final game.Players abusing the officials and the coaching staff allowing this to happen.one or 2 decent players though".

Heard from a Hearts parent the laddies were telling everyone who will listen that they are going to win everything this season and that Tynie are their favourite team  ;)

Having added even more boys from direct competitors they really really must want to...

Nothing wrong with being possitive at least its the kids saying it and not the coaches eh. also they have added 1 player from hutchie 96 who folded hardly lots of boys as your making out plus they have lost 3 so they have around 15 now.

season not even started and you are all bitching about edina, why dont you concentrate on your own club the green eyed monster maybe or dont you have any thing nice to say about kids from edina? like well done for comong 5th in a pro youth tournament etc etc

Since the spring they have added at least two from Hutchie - a defender and a midfielder. From Musselburgh a winger.

The reason for saying more boys is that this Edina team bears no resemblance to their U12 team and very little resemblance to the U13 team that won the league. Most of the boys at the club have come from elsewhere over the last two seasons (Spartans, Hearts, Tynecastle, Musselburgh, Hutchie 96 and others). They have assembled a team in the manner other so called big clubs do. Its not something unique to them but it has happened.

As for the Foyle thing just reporting what was written on the PY forum about their tournament in Ireland by other PY parents ( but obv not Celtic  ) because people asked here how they got on. It is how the Hearts parents saw what happened from their own perspective. They cant have any axe to grind with a boys club from Edinburgh? :dontknow:

And personally my boy is PY so no reason to be green eyed about Edina :dontknow: ;)

So were the Hearts parents in the same hotel and the same bus ??

They obviously must have been to see all that from their "own perspective" ?

I have nothing to do with any youth team, but it looks to me that there is a bit of a witch hunt against Edina 15's.

tittle tattle ??
